RECOUNT TEXT (EXPLORING THE PAST VERBS)

 

Observe the crossword puzzle below. In the puzzle, there are 10 regular and

10 irregular verbs in Past Tense form. The verbs are:

The first word has been done for you. Now, your turn to find the rest past verbs.

After you find all the past verbs, choose 5 regular verbs and 5 irregular verbs. Use each of the verbs you chose in a simple paste tense sentence. Your sentence should be related to your experiences in the past.

Example:

A. Regular Verbs

  1. Riyanti started to make Simple Past Tense.
  2. Jeslyna dropped a glass in the kitchen.
  3. The bad internet connection caused some of X IBB students couldn’t join the English class this morning.

B. Irregular Verbs

  1. I felt nervous to meet him in the church yesterday.
  2. Salsa made chocolate brownies last weekend.
  3. Agustina thought Ningsi was sick.
