A. Meaning
A noun clause is a group of words that function as a noun in a sentence.
It acts together as a noun.
It adds more details to a sentence.
It consists of both a subject and a verb, but always a dependent clause. So, it does not form a meaningful sentence.
B. Subordinate Conjunctions
The noun clauses always combine with subordinate conjunctions. The conjunctions go before the noun clauses. Here are some of them.

C. Common Types of Noun Clause
1. That-clause (that)
e.g. That last year I won the contest wasn’t right.
2. Wh-clause (wh-questions)
e.g. We can’t predict when the Covid-19 pandemic ended.
3. If/whether-clause (if/whether)
e.g. I couldn’t believe if you can go with me tonight.
Headmaster asked whether she goes or not.
