PROFIL

Yulius Roma Patandean, S.Pd., lahir di Tana Toraja, 6 Juli 1984. Menyelesaikan pendidikan S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di Universitas Kristen Indonesia Toraja (2003-2007). Saat ini sementara melanjutkan pendidikan S2 di Institut Agama Kristen Negeri Toraja.

MENGENALI PLATFORM PENDUKUNG BELAJAR ONLINE

Belajar dari rumah (BDR) merupakan salah satu tindak lanjut anjuran pemerintah untuk memotong rantai penyebaran COVID-19. Sekolah menyelenggarakan BDR artinya sekolah tidak menyelenggarakan kegiatan yang mengumpulkan banyak orang. Bagaimanapun opsi mengumpulkan siswa di sekolah untuk proses pembelajaran masih menjadi pertimbangan serius. Terutama untuk wilayah dengan zona orange, merah hingga hitam pandemi COVID-19.

BDR dan PJJ di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Di awal tahun 2021, tepatnya pada awal bulan Februari ini, program Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) masih menjadi opsi pemerintah dalam memberikan pelayanan pendidikan. BDR dilaksanakan dalam dua acara, yakni Pendidikan Jarak Jauh (PJJ) daring (online) dan Pendidikan Jarak Jauh (PJJ) luring (offline). PJJ daring mengutamakan ketersediaan sumber daya internet, smartphone dan paket data. Sementara PJJ luring memanfaatkan layanan radio, TV Edukasi, modul, hingga pemanfaatan video pembelajaran dan sumber belajar lainnya di lingkungan peserta didik.

Cara Memanfaatkan Video Pembelajaran di Kelas Digital dan Kelas Terbalik

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi (TI) harus diakui sangat mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis digital. Digitalisasi turut pula mendorong lahirnya konten-konten video pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Tak bisa dipungkiri bahwa di masa akan datang, video pembelajaran akan banyak memuat bahan ajar berbasis real life, seperti video praktik Biologi berbasis virtual reality (VR). Jika saat ini pembelajaran di laboratorium sebatas mempraktekkan teroti yang siswa peroleh di ruang kelas, maka teknologi VR akan menghadirkan kondisi nyata ayng lebih mempermudah eksplorasi siswa.

MENGEFEKTIFKAN BELAJAR JARAK JAUH: MENGENALI MASALAH DAN MENEMUKAN SOLUSI

Mengajar secara jarak jauh telah menjadi salah satu kegiatan utama banyak pendidik saat ini. Seperti yang sementara berlangsung di berbagai negara, dalam upaya memutus rantai penyebaran COVID-19, sekolah-sekolah di Indonesia, lewat kebijakan pemerintah, telah memilih aktifitas pembelajaran dilaksanakan dari rumah dan secara umum pembelajaran berlangsung online.

RPP (SATU LEMBAR) MAPEL BAHASA INGGRIS SMA KELAS XII

Apa kabar sahabat-sahabatku, para guru Bahasa Inggris yang hebat di mana pun berada? Semoga kita semua senantiasa dalam keadaan sehat di bawah lindungan-Nya, senantiasa penuh semangat dalam mengemban tugas mulia sebagai pendidik untuk berbagi ilmu kehidupan kepada anak didik kita. 

Perangkat pembelajaran, dalam hal ini dokumen kelengkapan guru untuk melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar adalah komponen yang wajib ada pada setiap guru profesional.

Saat ini, dikembangkan RPP satu lembar. Kali ini saya akan berbagi RPP tersebut pada mapel Bahasa Inggris SMA Kelas XII, semester Ganjil.  Di samping itu pada kesempatan berbahagia ini, saya juga berbagi berbagai dokumen lainnya seperti Analisis KKM, Silabus, Prosem, Prota, dll.

IF CLAUSE

 

 IF CLAUSE FOLLOWED BY SUGGESTION OR IMPERATIVE.

 

What do you know about clause?

A clause is a group of words that contains a subject and a predicate. A clause is either independent or dependent.

A.   Suggestion

1.     You should get married.

2.     You shouldn’t get married.

3.     You need to get married.

4.      Let’s get married.

5.     Shall you get married?

6.     How about getting married.

7.     What about getting married.

8.     I suggest you get married.

9.     I suggest that you get married.

10. I suggest getting married.

11. It’s a good idea to get married.

12.  Why don’t you get married?

13. You could get married.

B.   Command / Imperative

v Positive Command:

Command always begins with a verb.

1.     Go out!

2.     Stand up!

3.     Come here!

      Negative Command:

1.     Don’t go out!

2.     Don’t come here!

3.     Don’t leave me alone!

C.   IF CLAUSE

Pattern: If + Subject + verb 1

IF CLAUSE + SUGGESTION

1.     If you want to visit Pango-Pango, you should use a taxi motorcycle.

2.     If you want to visit Pango-Pango, you should wear warm clothes.

3.     If you want to visit Pango-Pango, you should take picture there.

IF CLAUSE + COMMAND/IMPERATIVE

1.     If you want to visit Pango-Pango, don’t go alone!

2.     If you want to visit Pango-Pango, do not wear clothes that are slightly exposed.

3.     If you want to visit Pango-Pango, try to keep clean.

4.     If you want to visit Pango-Pango, don't leave the trash there.

D.   Expanding IF CLAUSE

Study these sentences!

1.     If you come to XII MIA 2 Class, meet with two handsome boys sit near the window.

2.     You could be Panca’s friend if you study in XII MIA 2 class.

3.     It’s a good idea to come to XII MIA 2 if you want to meet Dewinka.

4.     If you meet Monica, why don’t you ask her phone number?

5.     Don’t laugh at me if you didn’t brush your teeth before.

6.     Don’t laugh at me unless you brush your teeth before.

          If not = unless

E.    CONCLUSION
If Clause pattern and functions as:

*If clause + suggestion

*If clause + imperative/command

But sometimes,

      If clause + fact

          If you come to XII MIA 2 class today, there are many excellent students

      If clause + opinion

          If you meet Zefanya, I think you will have joy.

Create a brochure by choosing one of these topics:

1.     Tourism sites in Toraja and the corona virus pandemic.

2.     SMAN 5 Tana Toraja and  the corona virus pandemic.

Notes:

-         Use your own pictures / take the picture by yourself.

-         Use if clause + suggestion and if clause + imperative in your brochure.

-         Use your own ideas to collect information. Do not copy from internet.

-         Share your brochure through your social media account: facebook and Instagram.

-         Collect as many as possible likes and comments.

-         The deadline is September 30, 2020.

ADJECTIVE CLAUSE COMPREHENSION TEST

 

Combine the sentences below by using the right relative pronouns.

C.    OBJECT OF A PREPOSITION

4.            Annas is a Mathematics teacher. Mustari collaborates with him.

5.            Adjective clauses are easy grammar. I understand clauses by them.

 

D.    WHOSE, WHEN, AND WHERE

 

1.            2020 is memorable year. Covid-19 pandemic spreads all over the world at that time.

2.            I  visited Pa’baladoan. Its panorama  remembered me to Lolai.

3.            Sinaga teaches a class for students. Their native language is not English.

4.         The man poured a glass of palm wine on his face. His beard caught on fire when he lit a cigarette.

5.            The Makale city was beautiful. We spent our vacation there.
