Other ways, we can use suggestion:
Could you + verb 1:
- Could you put those cakes in suitable box for me?
- Could you let others know about corona virus pandemic?
- Could you pass this on to others?
Would you mind + gerund/verb-ing:
- Would you mind sharing your experience?
- Would you mind calling me tonight?
- Would you mind giving me your sweetest smile?
Would you + verb 1:
- Would you add me to your contact list?
- Would you save our teacher’s email address?
- Would you accept him to be your new friend?
B. Giving recommendation
To give a recommendation, we can use this pattern:
o I recommend that you stay in this XI IBB class.
o My recommendation is that you use your internet data positively.
o I highly recommend using this product / service.
o This person is highly trained / very skilled / very professional.
o We found the information presented very useful.
o I only have positive things to say about this product / this person / this service.
o I would be happy to give you their contact information.
o Please mention my name when you contact them.
