Future Continous Tense

 FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

This tense is used to express activities that will be in progress at a certain time in the future.

Subject + will be + verb-ing + complement

To make clear a certain time in the future, use time signals such as:

  • In a few minutes
  • All day this week
  • All hours this afternoon
  • This time next year
  • At 10 o’clock tonight
  • At the same time next week
  • At the same time next month
  • At this time tomorrow
  • etc. 

Study the following sentences.

  • In a few minutes, I will be visiting Makassar.
  • At this time tomorrow, she will be getting the money back.
  • It will be raining all day tomorrow
  • They will be winning the contest this time next month
  • At the same time next year, Joni will be buying the TV

Let's try to make future continuous tense.

Example:


At this time tomorrow, ....

At this time tomorrow, my family will be cooking together.

 


1. At this hour next Friday, ....

 

2. All day tomorrow, ....

 

 

3. In a few hours ....

 

4. At this time next year ....

5. By this time next week ....
